Chaplets

Catholics are known for their faith in symbolism. This is also one of the reasons why other religious segments criticize them. Chaplets for instance symbolize the catholic’s devotion to prayer. These are considered personal devotional which most have Marian connotations. The Holy rosary is considered a chaplet but most chaplets have fewer beads.

One of the most popular chaplets is the Blessed Sacrament Chaplet. It has 33 beads representing Jesus’ 33 years of life on earth. It also has the medal of the Blessed Sacrament. Another famous chaplet is The Chaplets of Divine Mercy. This uses the ordinary rosary beads of five decades.
