turquoise necklaces

The jewelry industry is divided into so many sub markets. Jewelers in general recognize two dominant markets: couples for engagement rings and wedding rings and women for other jewelry. Women who collect jewelry usually have countless of necklaces, rings, bracelets and pendants. Necklaces are the most versatile of them all because they are longer than the rest and more stones and variations can be done. Some examples of popular necklaces are turquoise necklaces, diamond necklaces, coral necklaces, and gold necklaces.

Turquoise necklaces are making a comeback. They used to be the craze back in the 60s. Turquoise is a semi precious stone that vary in color from green to blue. They have an “earthly” appeal and can be cut and shaped into whatever shape you want. Turquoise necklaces are usually done by attaching turquoise stones on a silver or gold necklace. Given the turquoise’ dazzling color, they can also be combined with other colored stone like coral, amethyst and opal.
