Care of jewelry is required every step of the way. When worn, they should be protected from chemicals. Put them on after you have applied perfume and spray on your hair. Before putting those back in your handcrafted wooden jewelry box gently wipe off excess make-up and skin oils. Use a soft cotton cloth in doing this.

Once in a while, give your jewelry a deep cleaning. Add a small amount of mild liquid soap to half a cup of warm water. Soak 2-3 minutes before rinsing through with clean water. This process will remove fingerprints, light grease and dirt. Dry the pieces completely before storing in an air tight plastic bag.
