charms

It is but normal for people to cling on to something that they believe brings in positive energy to their lives. This is the reason why charms have gained so much popularity. They are believed to bring good luck, cure disease or even influence a particular behavior. They typically come in the form of medals or coins. People also believe that certain powers are imbedded in them which then become amulets.

One example of charms is the good luck coin. Coins with holes in them or those bearing your birthday are deemed to be lucky. Others believed that those offered at communion could cure the sick thus are punched and worn by the sick as necklaces or rings. There are also those that could bring romance to their lives and those that could protect them from evil. Aside from its protective powers, charms are generally aesthetically attractive.
