create a button

While buttons were used mainly for political advertising, it is also a good vehicle for putting across the message of a cause. The setback in this is that you can only put in so many words in a button. It can be used to attract attention, though, with attractive colored logos or figures that will fit into its round shape. It is also a way to express someone’s conviction about the cause. Just by pinning the button to your short, you are telling the world that you are in agreement with the cause.

Modern technology has made it easy to create a button. All you will need is a computer and a button maker kit. The kit will include a button machine, punch cutter, button sets and a design CD. Design your graphics in your computer, print it and cut the image with the puncher. The next step is just as easy as putting the button template into the button maker and pushing the lever down to clamp the pieces together.
