Accessories are all the rage this season. Nowadays stylists rely on accessories to boost and enhance fashion. One of the most popular and widespread hobby these days is do-it-yourself jewelry. Most women seed beads and string them together to form jewelry that they can call their own. Anybody who has the love for jewelry can put together a seed bead bracelet with matching necklace with their own design. It is actually very easy to do. All you need are a few tools and a lot of patience.
To make a seed bead jewelry you will need: seed beads, string, pliers, long nose screw and a clasp. The seed beads come are small uniformly shaped beads in different colors. They along with the string are available in craft stores. The rest you can buy in hardware stores. First you need to string the seed beads, add some bigger beads or stones to break the monotony then clasp them together. It is easy but the challenge is trying to make your design stand out and creative.

When I was looking at diamond rings prior to my engagement, I learned about the different cuts of the diamond. I had wanted my engagement ring to be either a brilliant cut (or a round cut) or a princess cut (square). My boyfriend gave me a brilliant cut diamond ring with two very small heart shaped diamonds on the side. When I was looking for earrings to wear on my wedding day, I chose teardrop pearl earrings. I liked pearls because they were simple and elegant and I chose a teardrop shaped pearl because it complemented my round face.
I had already done my research. Being a professional make-up artist I knew how to accentuate my make up to highlight my features and to hide my flaws. Since I have a round face, the right neckline and earrings can help create the illusion or a more oval face. This is why I chose teardrop shaped pearl earrings. They are shaped like teardrops which are oval but pointed at the top. This along with my v- cut neckline helped me make my wedding day truly elegant and memorable.

Having worked with a jewelry company for nine years now, I am now in a position to give my younger sister jewelry advice. On her recent birthday, I gave her a turquoise bracelet. Turquoise has an old world charm to it. However at the same time, it is also easily fashionable into modern and contemporary designs. Since my sister is fond of bracelets and necklace, that turquoise bracelet was the perfect choice.
When I gave her the bracelet, I had to tell her all about turquoise. She did not know much about jewelry. One thing I told her is that turquoise was a mineral and often placed with other precious stones. I guess I can’t blame her for not being familiar with turquoise jewelry ‘coz when we were growing up the only jewelry we knew and saw were diamonds and pearls.

There are some people who are allergic to bracelets, wristbands or anything wrapped on their wrist. Imagine a person surviving a day without a watch on his hand. Impossible! Because the watch is one essential thing one person can’t leave his home without. It helps him decide which things to prioritize in his everyday agenda. Good thing there’s pocket watch to keep him going.
Pocket watches are designed to just be carried and kept inside a pocket than worn on the wrist. They generally have an attached chain so their owners can securely place and lock them in their waistcoat, lapel or belt loop so as to prevent them from being dropped. Most pocket watches are made with hinged metal to protect the face of the watch. Recently designed pocket watches are pieces embossed with animals like an eagle, for one.

~Keep your jewelry away from damp air and humid environment. Take extra care if you live near beach or sea as the air is ten times damp then the rest of the place.
~Another best way to clean sterling silver jewelry with homemade products is to clean it with toothbrush and toothpaste. Rinse it with clean water and dry them.
~Some people also advices placing your sterling silver jewelry in the potato water which will help get you out those dirty and oxide off your jewelry.
~925 Sterling silver dips are also an option but they will take the color off your gemstones fixed along with the silver jewelry.
~Avoid using jewelry boxes made of wood as mostly wood contains acid that damages 925 sterling silver jewelry faster than normal.

Show, don’t tell how unique you are from everyone else. Those who truly stand out are the ones who reinvent themselves. Don’t wear what everyone else is wearing. Set your own fashion trends.
For instance, put on some handmade earrings, bracelets and necklaces whenever you attend parties. They are sure to catch other women’s attention especially if you go for accessories with unique designs. Being different is a good thing. Be daring to push the envelope a little although make sure you don’t go overboard.
